Jason P. Popper, DDS, works at Popper Dental, located on the Upper East Side of New York City, with his father and sister. A passionate periodontist, Dr. Popper specializes in implantology.
Dr. Popper earned his Bachelor of Arts from Pennsylvania State University in State College and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in New York City in 2004. Just three years later, he completed his residency there, in the Department of Periodontics and Implantology.
As a resident, Dr. Popper rose to the position of chief resident and also received his department’s 2007 Postgraduate Periodontal Leadership Award.
Ever eager to learn more, Dr. Popper is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
He also holds several professional memberships, including the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, Northeast Society of Periodontists, New York County Dental Society, New York State Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
In addition to his work as a periodontist, Dr. Popper has published scholarly articles in the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, and the New York State Dental Journal.
