Marlisa J. Popper, DDS, works alongside her father and brother at Popper Dental on the Upper East Side of New York City. There, she lends her expertise as a prosthodontist, specializing in decayed tooth restoration, tooth replacement, and full mouth dental implant rehabilitation.
Dr. Popper earned her undergraduate degree at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University School of Dental Medicine, located in New York City, in 2001.
Dr. Popper then went on to complete a general dentistry residency at Coler-Goldwater Hospital in Queens, New York City.
In 2006, Dr. Popper completed a one-year fellowship in full mouth reconstruction. Immediately after that, she continued her education at a three-year postgraduate prosthodontic program.
Dr. Popper is extremely dedicated to her patients, who benefit from her extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of functional and cosmetic dentistry. On top of her work with patients, Dr. Popper has published articles in the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, and the New York State Dental Journal.
